Hummus
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained & rinsed
¼ cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cumin (optional)
2-3 tbsp water (for desired consistency)
Instructions
In a food processor or blender, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin.
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Add water, 1 tbsp at a time, until you reach a creamy consistency.
Add more lemon juice for tang, salt for seasoning, or olive oil for richness.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or sesame seeds.
